Empowering Justice, Strengthening Communities
From October 28th to 30th, members of the Justice Arm under the SRDC came together for a three-day workshop focused on brainstorming, planning, and shaping the next phase of the Access to Justice and Community Advocates Paralegal Scoping Project.
Participants were engaged in meaningful discussions on key steps to strengthen community advocate and paralegal programs, defining their roles, scope, and responsibilities, and enhancing supervision and accountability. The workshop also explored the relationship between Community Advocates and existing village structures, such as Village Councils, CPGs, government bodies, and partner organizations, to ensure stronger collaboration and more effective community-based justice support.
This initiative reaffirms our shared commitment to justice, equality, and empowerment, building a system where communities are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to address local challenges through fair and inclusive means.
Together, we are creating pathways for justice and nurturing leaders who serve with integrity and purpose.
